    My favourite was JJ Miller winning the 1999 3200m Perth Cup on a horse that was first up.

    The bets were huuuuuge on course.

    I'm seen some dirty tricks - that was a big one.

    Radios, Rolls Royces and enormous wads of cash.

    Jockeys bashing each other up in the car park.

    But the cash - bigger that you could hold.

    Some bookies went broke in a day.

    Eric Wilson was one.

    Those days are well gone - the drama and the theatre.

    Couldn't ask for a better day out.
