I purchased a treatment of molnupiravir for an elderly person with COVID yesterday. The young girl at the pharmacy told me the COVID sufferer was benefitting from the govt subsidy as the $1000 treatment cost approx $8 over the counter. Corruption at our top levels in govt! Govt paying $1000 for a treatment that possibly doesn't work when ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are proven safe and effective and cost one hundreth of the price. Why is our govt funnelling Aust taxpayers money to the USA military-pharmaceutical complex? The pharmacist also told me Paxlovid was more effective but was probably not prescribed because of polypharmacy issues. We need more "awakened wonders'' in the pharmacy and medical professions.
