When governments pass legislation or policies look for way you can personally mitigate their effect, was it Confuscious that said go around the mountain not over it? Life is short, and sometimes its easier to go around rather than thinking you can conquer the mountain.

Complain all you like but the train continues, sometimes with a few bends in the track, but always moving forward, not necessarily in the direction of your choosing.

As for burying one's head in the sand, that's an opinion, and you're entitled to it!

There is a lot of truth in what you write (again your opinion). A fatalistic opinion. But it doesn't make people dim-witted if they wish to engage in politics (it might even make them wealthy, haha). Different strokes rock different folks. This scamdemic has changed the way I look at everything now and realise our 2 party system is broken and not running the country. I've learnt most of this through discussion and seeking other peoples knowledge. And I certainly will be going around the mountain as well.
