I disagree on the basis that they were classified as the 'biggest medical trial in human history', the only thing they couldn't predict was the outcome of how many people would be affected, now they know, albeit far less than they anticipated I would suggest.
The next time around it will NOT be a trial or an experiment as they can target, and predict, exactly how many will be 'affected' and how they can change 'the formula' for best effect.
