I suppose looking at it from an impartial viewpoint it's similar to posters on hotcopper ramping a stock for financial gain, albeit on a much smaller scale.

Who is really responsible? the ramper, or the gullible who don't have enough knowledge and buy on the rampers information?

Yes I know and accept people were coerced, bribed, threatened etc etc. but there were many that were not and now bear the scars and losses exactly as if they had lost money from the taking the rampers advice, and based on that advice they could have committed suicide due to their financial loss?

From a moral viewpoint I don't think the scale matters, it's the same thing, in my opinion! Some people have a propensity to be drawn into schemes because they are fashionable, seem like a good idea at the time or don't want the hassle of doing their own due diligence.

In the end the individual is accountable for their own actions!
