The "Elite" are alot older than "baby boomers". Most of the elite were around during WW II with some of them having played an active role. They have already found ancient evil ways of delaying death. No doubt many of them also believe in eugenics and hence the depopulation schemes. Some of them would be supporters of a "shotgun" random RNA edit experiment to see what else can be found out.
