It’s like watching the movie Pearl Harbour and not thinking or reading up on the reasons why the Emperor felt obliged to send his navy to commit this piece of aggression.
It’s like forgetting that the Japanese were our allies in WW1.
Or that the Sepoy (Pandey) Mutiny in the 1850’s was in part, due to the Russians encouraging dissent among the local population.
Owing to the fact that the British East India company was plundering the resources of India.
Of course the Russians were hoping to gain advantage of the Indian resources if the Indians gained independence from the British.
History just may show those of us who live long enough, just how the world has been manipulated by those who were responsible for these last handful of years but I doubt that they will see it at a Hoyts cinema.
