That's exactly when you should NOT put that poster on ignore, you need to build your resilience to opinion that contradicts your own, discover why you hold an alternative view and be challenged that you may change your opinion?

One of the only reasons I could think of to put another poster in ignore is if they become repetitive, boring or too AI like (have no context), yes there are a few here on this thread, or add no further value to any information discovery.
