$50,000 is a huge incentive to use the Covid 19 death certificate reporting system.
There have been reports from nurses in New York who were horrified at the number of people who were put on ventilators when it wasn't appropriate and they knew that most of them would then die. Later there was another report from a doctor, I think, saying the hospitals were paid US$35,000 for every patient with Covid 19 who was put on a ventilator.
