My sister was on medication for high BP and took serrapeptase for a few years. Her doctor reduced her medication by half and them completely when her BP got too low but her doctor must have convinced her to stop taking it and now she's back on the high BP dose.

Doctors are required to treat the symptoms with the available prescription drugs, even when there's something that will treat the cause safely and cheaply off prescription. Why not try it and see what it might do for you?

Best not try it after reading to avoid it when taking blood thinners but it does make you think that if it's ineffective why would prescription drugs carry warnings about taking it? It is also claimed to dissolve blood clots.
