The legal system is stacked against ordinary working people who are not able to engage good legal representation, we were poor in the early 80s and were basically screwed firstly by the medical system and secondly by our legal representation, they prefer the easy way out and commute the case, give you a pittance and walk away without liability. Lawyers get paid to settle the case, nudge nudge, wink wink.....
