I don't want to believe this happens in a hospital setting but given capitalism and healthcare or privatisation of hospital services, I can bear witness if you should seek the service and unable to settle your gap fees because low level call centres are not well informed. There is nothing charitable in majority of non-profit entities, a tax avoidance scheme to exploit tax laws
Yes, I've heard this hospital incentive since the beginning of the pandemic so in a way I'm glad we have not gone the US route but retained the public hospital system. Here in WA, you will be surprised that the public system rivals the private hospital including after care. Seen it happening. The press is there to bang gloom for eye balls clicks.
