Take covid out of the picture and the world was already being stripped apart, if you hadn't noticed. What is the common denominator, then?

Well, look to the source of all the most divisive misinformation and concerted attempts at brainwashing "the persuadables" (the social demographic who by their search history are targeted with stories to make them feel outrage and seek change).

Many theories as to where this is originating, be it Russia, Alt Right extremists or even just bored tech savvy millennial.

But what does it matter where it is coming from if you have the ability to resist it?

Stop believing everything you see on your ridiculous Facebook feeds and fake news sites and you have already beat them.

Covid and covid policy is nothing new. Society has always been subject to a methodical upscaling of regulations, and the law of entropy suggests that process will not end until the social system disperses into a state of zero agitation.

What you do have control over is your own reactions. If they are irrational then you are just making the situation worse. If you act with composure then you are unquestionably doing your best.

Nobody is losing their mind over people who aren't following protocols for genuine reasons and trying really hard to not be provocative.

It's the shouty 70 year old man who thinks his upper middle class privilege is more important than a poor person's well-being or a young person's compulsion to act responsibly that most of us "sheeple" (haha the irony) have an issue with.

The last thing I want when I'm in the middle of an emergency situation is some fkwit running around screaming their head off about everyone being scared and stupid and their rights and all this other inane rubbish, when, to be honest, im just trying to make the least fuss possible so we can get the situation under control and move on.
