    The underlying issue in my mind is they are convinced they have the truth and high moral ground.

    Therefore the means-- however dishonest or immoral-- is immaterial because they are on a crusade.

    But most rational see them for what they are- a bunch if ignorant and deluded wankers without a conscience.
