Covid hits us and we are one of the last countries to act. So what do we do? We lockdown and learn from other countries. In doing so, the government decides the best course of action is to vaccinate.
Initially the age groups approved were those 18+
Therefore of the roughly 25 million in population, the actual eligible was 6 million less at the time. I mean, who would buy something for an age group without knowing the requirement or safety profile for them?
To have two shots (as was suggested was all we need at the time) for 19 million people.
That’s around 13.5 doses per eligible adult.
The “real” requirement was 2 doses or 38 total but we bought over 255 million. And that’s if we thought everyone would get sucked into the narrative when it was already showing a concern for those over 65+ only.
Now, according to this article, the reasons we “over bought” is this -
“The dose glut comes a year after the federal government shored up vaccine reserves to ensure there were plenty left over if certain ones failed at the height of the pandemic.”
Make sense? Not really, they don’t go into what we knew at the time, the statistical rates of succumbing to this deadly pathogen, < 99% chance.
Again, what have we learnt from this as we throw away our tax dollars and big pharma laugh their heads off, internet bed wetters want mandates and masks?

No talk of any other solutions, just talk of more. 4/5 shots of the original variant and specific ones in the future. And the vax fanatics call us crazy.
