Thats the issue red, had you been reading and listening to a broader base of information beyond MSM you may have learnt something along the way, government is not designed to protect you, they exist to protect their sponsors and in-turn their pockets, you are the last thing they consider when making a decision, a decision they are often not qualified to make.

During the COVID-19 pandemic Clancy was involved in controversy when he was quoted by Australian MP Craig Kelly in support of false information about claimed benefits of the drugs hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Newcastle University distanced itself from Clancy's views and issued a statement which mentioned that the vice-chancellor had said the university did "not consider Robert Clancy a subject matter expert on COVID-19".^[5]
