Protecting the elderly, proven early treatment options and developing natural herd immunity, initially within young and healthy populations, would have caused far less death and harms without the disastrous impacts on global poverty and starvation, economies and livelihoods, physical and mental health as well as an erosion of our fundamental rights, freedoms and civil liberties.
