In todays world the bigger crime would be out in public spreading covid -- by far. If there is a mask mandate in place because there is local spread , punching you would be considered self defense ( hopefully ) if you sneezed in my vicinity without one. Why be a tool and a idiot by not simply wearing one under those circumstances. It is basic respect for others, something in very short supply these days. Who said I would be perfectly safe wearing a mask ? Only a properly fitted N95 mask will help prevent infection , as long as you have eyewear too. Not guaranteed, but it will reduce chances of infection by magnitude. Any old face covering including your shirt, will ,help prevent spread, again by magnitude. And it is frightening how many people still don't understand the difference. Gotta watch out for those little nano worms imbedded in the mask though lol-- what a complete tool to believe that crap.
