    You opened your post with the word "if". Perhaps you'd be wise to put some effort into verifying what the actual numbers are before you scoot off on a tangent. However:

    The truth is, we really do not know what the real figures are. They vary from one country to another, and even within countries the numbers vary wildly. But to assert that out of every 10,000 people infected, only 6 are going to die is (in my mind) shockingly inaccurate and dangerous.

    The CFR might be 1.5%
    It might be 0.5%- or somewhat lower. But to casually dismiss this virus as "only as bad as the flu" is highly irresponsible.
