Many thanks for the link mowibble... I certainly did enjoy the read and will re-read it tomorrow and share it with my son and my lady.

Its certainly a very intelligent an evocative write and, yes, well and truly worth reading several times over.

there is a weaving of strands that is similar to life and death... and all roads lead to crossroads only to diverge again. Every path has its own way. I used such a metaphor in guided meditations in the 90s.

Death is a necessary part of life and life is a journey toward the inevitable. This virus is indeed a crossroads and will lead us to a new paradigm. I just hope its to a more accepting of different paths as being equal and each being right depending on what we make of the journey. Hey that's just karma.

I'd like to discuss this with you in more depth later, perhaps tomorrow. I believe we have neared such crossroads many times but never strayed from the road that goes straight ahead because we've feared the other ways. I thought we had one such when John Howard called for the Parliamentary Republican Debate in 1998. But alas, Howard ruled out any change.

Now I think that change is inevitably upon us and I'm worried that the medical paradigm, which I adore, will dominate to a greater extent instead of allowing us to recognise that the way is not the busy, well-trod path but the way we have never thought of, which is that all paths are one and the same when all are combined into choosing neither side but the middle way which allows all travellers the same right to walk.

That last para sums it up perfectly. but like all ideals it leaves the path open to all to travel in their own way. Hence the chaos remains within the order and the order is tamed by the chaos of freedom.

cheers mowibble, I'm very glad we met. Scott.
