Covid Long Haulers

60 minutes had a segment on Covid "long haulers". Long haulers are predominately 20 to 40 year old who had mild cases of Covid but are experiencing debilitating problems in Covids wake,including lung, heart, weakness, brain fog and massive headaches.

Sinai Hospital in NY (of early Rem-L fame) has established a unit dedicated to treating the long haulers. The unit has not ascertained precisely what is causing these problems but, the MD in charge of the unit opined that the inflammatory response of the immune system was likely the responsible agent. One physician noted that there were over 1,000 patients being treated and the unit was overwhelmed and turning patients away.

The foregoing promts the question whether any of the vented patients that were administered Rem-L are long haulers or have the been spared from the foregoing ravaging sequalae?

I hate to sound pessimistic, but it just seems that the current Phase 3 seems to be progressing at a glacial pace. There may be hope for those on vents in the near term. Hope for the long haulers and the possible benefit of Rem-L is apparently eons away.
