    Au contraire, it is eminently possible.
    640k works out to a mere 2.5% of the population.

    For a virus as highly contagious as this one is known to be, that's not a lot at all.

    Indeed, based on indications from the NSW Health Minister in around July, sero-prevalence studies underway at that stage put the number of people infected at that stage at between 250,000 and 500,000:
