I still have the app and hope it can be improved. And yes, it does drain the battery too much but I expected that.
I'm sorry the Morrison government has made yet more mistakes in implementing this, but maybe we should give them a bit of a break. This is all unknown territory and every beta program has faults. If we give up, then it will never work. And the economy closes when we have outbreaks like Victoria. So why not double down and try and make it work, even if means changing over to a different system.
For those who think I'm an idiot for "letting the government in to my phone", for goodness sake take your meds. I go to Bunnings, Officeworks, a few auctions and a few cafes. If the government wants to know that, they're welcome. Stop being so paranoid and grow a pair.
(And if your paranoia is really just about not wanting people to know you watch porn, put a VPN on. It's not difficult.)
