I've just read an article on the unprecedented 'heat domes' frying the Northern Hemisphere's more northern countries this year - we sure hope that's not coming to us this soon after the 2019-20 bushfire season. Adding that to Covid would tip a lot of people over the edge of despair.

I don't think the "Northern Heat Domes'' - love these expressions - will travel into the Southern Hemisphere, but
The Southern Oscillation and The Indian Ocean Dipole are real events that happen on a cyclic basis.
So yes - we will face similar drought conditions again - as we always have.
Nothing to do with some coal fired powers stations in the Hunter and Latrobe Valleys.
