I appreciate your informed and logical posts.

Can i simply offer, as one who has knowledge about budgets within private and public hospitals, that the costs of Cleanspace masks/protection makes them very unlikely to be on the radar of hospitals.

Public hospitals, in particular, operate on an extremely limited budget. It is simply an economic decision and "sexiness" never comes into the equation.

Similarly, private hospitals also operate within budgets and expensive masks such as this would not be on their radar as they have shareholders and boards to report to.
