To make my position clear - I'm supportive of the Government's reaction to Covid so far - I think it has been appropriate.
However, I do expect the Government to lift restrictions (to return to a relatively back-to-normal-ish scenario) once we surpass 80% vaccination rates in adults, particularly in States other than NSW/VIC who have it under control (and will be disappointed if they are overly conservative in this regard, noting the other factors of the economy, particularly with small businesses, and mental health).
