    Your assumption however, that the CDC would be including medical conditions that did not contribute to death, was wrong.

    Note that they are literally called 'contributing conditions'.

    Note also that Covid-19 was the sole cause of death in only 5% of cases, and the rest average FOUR conditions or causes per person, in addition to Covid.



    As for hospitalizations overburdening the health system, I'd expect you'd see similarly low numbers of healthy u50's there also.
    Hard to get stats on that...

    but since you apparently have access to a large network of doctors, here's some homework:
    how about you find out from them how many of the severe Covid cases they see that require hospitalisation...
    are otherwise fit & healthy u50's ?
