Covid. The way forward

Certain facts IMHO have become clear (Vic perspective)

People tell lies about where they are and where they have been
The authorities tell lies and are incompetent
The politicians still do not know anything about the enemy they are fighting, and as to their medical experts !
Vaccines are a dream that may bear some fruit in the far distant future
Herd immunity is also on the dream list
The authorities refuse to properly investigate possible cures

Unless something is done to counter the problems we will be stuck in some sort of lock-down until we can no longer borrow money to function

Although the civil liberties people will get upset, we need to do 24 hour "phone checking" IE follow the Taiwanese system whereby all people who have tested positive are tracked 24 hours a day to be certain they stay where they should be, and if they deviate they go straight to a government isolation center, if they do not have a phone they wear an ankle bracelet

Lock downs, masks that are not properly worn or made, restrictions on travel, no normal life, non of these are working so there has to be change.

We are supposed to be in lock-down, do a check of your airports and see how many planes arrive from o/seas and interstate every day -- who are actually in lock-down, it's us poor suckers --- the ordinary people
