The issue i see arising is the risk adverse medical professionals who are called Governments top health officials. This link to Government hints at the lack of independence in the role. No Government wants to be seen to cause death or illness and no top health official wants to be the one to be in charge if death rates rise if we relax restrictions. This crisis should be a lesson for media to finally have truthful reporting, less fanaticism and less sensationalism and not pick a side so we can let the people in charge make decisions not based on political ideology but based on our best interests.
