A review of our own Greed and Expectations or a review/rejig of Corporate Expectations ?
I don't really see the everyday average middle class Australian worker as greedy nor having over exuberant expectations Parsifal, A fair day's pay for a fair day's work, a few weeks off a year and a pay rate commensurate with their labour and cost of living increases.
Basically the ability to get ahead in life, pay their bills, raise and educate their kids with a material life better than what they grew up with themselves.
Unfortunately as you point out the problems came/come with the Corporation's, the layering of leaches so to speak that we are subject to in today's world. I include in those the likes of Unions and Superannuation, Insurance of all types and even down to the likes of the Illegal third tier of Gov't the Local Councils and State Police forces, Motor vehicle registry, Real Estate Agency's/ Conveyance, any and all manner of NGO's that have a hand out and also IN controlling what where and when people can go about their daily lives while not causing any harm to anybody.
Like paying for a License to fish, drive, shoot, own a dog, cat, just as an example. How many times does a renewal of any of these things need a complete re do of the information first collected when the License is first issued ? 99% of the time it is done with existing data online or via the post but yet the prices for such increase nearly every year and the renewal work is nearly always done by the Payee with ever less work done by those collecting the fees.
Local Councils are according to the Constitution an Illegal entity under Australian Law, a Third Tier Of Gov't. Yet they are allowed to issue Fines and charge for services that under the Constitution are invalid and Illegal, yet they do so under Corporate Law.
All these institutions are nothing more than bloated ever expanding organizations that need an ever increasing revenue base to sustain themselves, so the end result is ever increasing charges to do so. And the source for that revenue is the people they purport to serve.
Don't even get me started on Super, at least with the share market and the other snakes and ladders games, people have a choice of directly interacting with those games or not, but Super is Mandated by Law and engineered to Rape and Pillage you on every single pay day.
This is how I see Super.
