Poor Nicole Cornes, Labor's shrinking hope in the South Australian seat of Boothby, reaffirmed her Calamity Jane status while handing out leaflets at a local railway station yesterday.
She spied a blind man and his dog walking onto the platform, made a beeline for him and then shepherded man and beast into a citybound train. Commuters told local media that Cornes had put the man on an express service when he was really on his weekly visit to his mother, one stop away.
