Being in Perth, the best horse I have seen race is Kingston Town when the horse came over to Perth for the Winfield Stakes (now the Fruit n Veg) - a major Perth Summer Carnival race.
The horse won and the grandstand just went berserk - came from near last. We rarely see good horses come to Perth nowadays.
Victorians don't know how lucky they are that they are able to pop into Moonee Valley and see Makybe Diva race.
