Very good to confirm in operational update 21st sept, ABU is clearly aggressively targeting theGolden Hind Pit
golden hind pit, and we should be accessing some very high grade ore given
we are now @ 15mts depth, check out drill results below and we can see why.
As of the end of August survey, the Golden Hind pit floor was approximately 15 metres below the natural land surface and 10.5 metres below the base of the trial mining pit. The mineralised system at Golden Hind is approximately 90 metres long and between 3 and 15 metres wide. Gold is hosted in quartz veins as well as ferruginous sheared sediments.
Overall the grade-control data and geometry of the mineralised system at Golden Hind is comparable to the mineral inventory. There is an element of complexity with gold hosted in both quartz veins and shear-zones in sediments. As well as steeply dipping structures, there is a shallowly dipping geological control that is not yet fully understood. Due to this complexity there has been a deliberate decision to take more tonnes (internally diluting some of the high-grade zones) to ensure that mineralised material is not inadvertently classified as waste. We expect to be able to reduce this dilution as the understanding of the structural complexity improves.
o/p Golden Hind Drill Result Highlights:
Drill Hole GHRC100014 intersected:
• 42 metres averaging 44.02g/t gold (0.5g/t cut-off) from surface including:
• 15 metres averaging 118.5g/t gold (1.0g/t cut-off) with the main high grade vein
included in this section returning 3 metres averaging 546g/t gold.
• Panning recovers approximately 12g of gold from 15kg of material suggesting
coarse gold grade is under-called at the laboratory.
Drill Hole GHRC100024 intersected:
• 20 metres averaging 10.59g/t gold (0.5g/t cut-off) from 13 metres depth including:
• 11 metres averaging 18.4g/t gold (1.0g/t cut-off)
Drill Hole GHRC100021 intersected:
• 21 metres averaging 9.52g/t gold (0.5g/t cut-off) from 11 metres depth including:
• 15 metres averaging 13.2g/t gold (1.0g/t cut-off)
Sept quarterly should show we have absorbed commissioning costs and are about to transition,
and with the Coyote gold processing plant confirmed as running / tuned perfectly,
-plant metallurgical recovery of- 99% @ 600-700tonnes per day, and accessing four high grade surface open cuts.
The next quarter of continuous production of high grade should well and truly get the markets attention
as high grade ore is processed & converted into $$$$$$$$$$.
ABU'S gold pours will do the talking from here on
GLTAH.
