I am not arguing that this is not a rare deposit.
I see it as very difficult to compare to any other.
It is rare with respect to just how good it is.
Multiple very high grade veins outcropping at surface containing coarse free gold with the ore exhibiting the best recovery results that I have seen from gravity recovery test work.

So to answer your question; no I don't know of any other large scale deposits that are this favourable to gravity only recovery.
That's part of the attraction to invest.
As for grinding, I assume that was included in the capex estimates.
I can't imagine a scoping study being completed leaving out an important part of the processing route.

The recent gravity recovery test work used two different methods.
The Knelson system used grinding and achieved an outstanding 97% recovery.
The Gekko system did not require grinding. It incorporates "coarse crushing using low-energy / low-water requirement
Vertical Shaft Impactor".
It was considered to be the option which would provide the lower cash costs of the two, at the lower but still excellent recovery of 88.4%.
