    Hi guys.
I've spent 40years in the maintenance side of mining, and over those years have done a fair few mill relines.

The amount of gold that gets "trapped" behind the lifters and wear plates is insignificant.
You might find a few ounces, and then it's mainly fines, certainly no (big pieces) on a regular basis.

If you were to run 5000 tonnes through a mill, at 20gpt you'd end up with 100000 gms. of gold.

Out of the 3,215 ozs that's about .1 (point one) of a percent. Not even worth considering.

Therefore out of the 3,215 ozs you would still have 3,212 ozs. Even a "loss" of 10 ozs is only .3 of a percent.
    Not really worth worrying about.

Don't know exactly how much visible gold there is at the surface, but I'd guess there would be enough, as I mentioned once before, to get an air compressor and a few jackhammers, and end up with a sizeable amount of cash.
About 8 x 9litre buckets of gold is worth $7,000,000
Anyhow I hope that they do something in the way of getting a bit of gold out. Certainly wouldn't like to see a CR any time soon.
