The NDIS has been plagued by problems, basically a lack of access to funding for patients. And to the best of my knowledge, a new medicine like psilocybin will not be covered by it. I imagine it will be like medicinal cannabis - where a patient needs a TGA permit through their doctor to receive it by prescription. At least for the first few years until it has been well and truly tested. And hopefully the initial costs won't be as expensive as medicinal cannabis continues to be. IMHO
