agree - the price stats coming out Tues & Wed are of particular significance. If they are above market expectations, the correction will be longer and deeper than we would all like. If inflation remains under control, then the markets should begin a recovery of sorts in July after tax loss selling. However, juxtaposed against this are gold & base metals markets, which dropped on Friday. As the hedge funds have been heavily involved in the physical market over the last few months, it's not easy to discern underlying demand conditions at the moment. They have run very stongly and will continue to be volatile. Oil price trend remains strong however. I do not anticiapte a breach below mid 60s. even with US/Iran tensions improving.
