CPn10 (HSP10) is available in very small quantities from commercial suppliers. It can be produced in the laboratory. Such material would be very expensive and unsuitable for IVX trials. The molecule trialled by CBio and IVX is "a minimally modified naturally occurring protein" called ala-CPn10. It is important that the exact same molecule be used in all trials. I do not believe that any commercially available drug would be acceptable for trials under FDA protocols. I don't think that there is any alternative to manufacturing a batch especially for IVX trials. This business moves very fast and I do not pretend to be across all the latest developments. I can only post what I know and what I believe.
