Computershare warned of the scarcity of bargains on 13 August 2008. The Australian share registry services company revealed that it had amassed $US500 million in funding in preparation for acquisitions, although CEO, Stuart Crosby, said good targets had proven difficult to find. The comments came after the company revealed it had paid Stg90 million ($A185 million) for ABC Learning's Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers
