If we're here to run comparisons between the two, that's called healthy competition.

To cliche this (as much I hate using such an example), Microsoft & Apple both launched smart phones and we know which one gained traction and became successful. Same can be said for thousands of other similar products in the world.

To my understanding though, CPV is nearly totally transparent while SolarWindow is coloured and not fully transparent. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

The business models of each may be different, there's nothing stopping CPV from learning from SolarWindows past missteps in commercialising their product. Different management, different patents, different technology and theories. Similar products. There's a market that must exist for solar glass for these companies to aggressively push their products.
