Looking at broker data with CommSec and the number of posts, I regularly see correlations with the pump up and the dump down. With the increase in HC activity you can see CommSec driving up a stock with up to 45% of the buy volume. Once it hits a peak and the share price falls, CommSec become the major sellers and activity on HC thread decrease massively. That’s what I have noticed over the last few years.
Do up ramps and down ramps have an effect. Doubt it but I don’t know. I don’t count buy and sell sentiments.
