why would the CEO put in $500k of his hard earned if he wasn't sure of his investment?

Only move open to him - without that he had a failed CR which the mkt would punish - law of sunken costs - he had to buy there was no plan B - throw the dice.
I still think this company will come good in 2024 but I am watching from the sidelines since last week - seems more patience required then I possess and i was long at .31 ...I'd have felt proper stupid if it got sub .40 - i cant stand the psychological pain of those scenarios - "you never go broke taking a profit!!!"
