You could be right, considering that some people in this forum talked about CPV phone calls to remind them to invest in SPP, and also seeing SP controllingly bounces back a little bit. Mind you, the Placement of $4 is considered done and CPV announced before they don't have need for CR because of ATM. Therefore, if every eligible shareholder subscriber fully ($30k), what would CPV do? "Scale back" or "issue more shares" of SPP are the measures on the table. Apparently, former is not good for real investors of SPP and latter not good for existing shareholders including the participants (the CEO is one of them) of the Placement. Therefore, I believe publishing any "good" announcement before close of SPP is not wise, unless CPV managements have some different agenda in their pockets.
