Labour has announced intention to handover $1 billion to a group fronted by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Malcolm Turnbull to manufacturer solar panels in the Hunter. This concept is doomed to fail and the money will be flushed down the toilet as the myriad structural competitive disadvantages cause its inevitable bust.
Meanwhile, CPV a genuinely compelling Aussie story with a massive early mover and IP advantages is overlooked and has to knock 33% of its share value to raise a measly 8 million to market its product.
Politicians and bureaucrats are so incredibly stupid. Mind you some blame must go to CPV too as it seems they are not managing their political relationships. MCB could buy us at 1$ per share without blinking
