When being compared to a competitors product, you should know the competition and how you stand out from them. You are being interviewed so (1) show your knowledge and let the watchers/listeners know you know your sh!t and (2) this is a great marketing opportunity to outline and rebut whatever Kohler said, no and actually sell our product range?
Not sure what you would have done but if i was Martin i would have explained the competitors products and how it differs from CPV and outlined the superior product. Opportunity lost but hey our Group CEO doesnt need discuss or know how we are superior to our competition right?
