If in talks with JV partners, and confidence in ground is high then why raise now. Take a partner to fund the drill and the SP will head north as DT's take an interest and we head to drilling. Then raise capital when the bit hits ground but before results.
Good or bad the company will then have coin to continue while SH can average down or increase position for the results.
Sentiment remains none until we sort the funds for drilling.
Another option would be CR now and hold 100% interest with no partners needed. Riskier bet but if you have confidence in the patch then it's the smarter option for SH returns. Depends where the confidence lies.
