The payment will be sent through to whichever bank the beneficiary is with. The problem is that the reporting showing that the amount has been received and processed is normally produced overnight. So unless the beneficiary is checking their account directly, they will wait for the report showing all the BPAYs received.
So technically, the beneficiary should be accepting any BPAY payment that shows as being credited on the final date.
