Is Nuplazids recent success a good or bad thing for NEU?
Bad Thing- Nuplazid is a potential blockbuster. Given recent trial results Acadia will be focusing on this drug and applying more resources to develop. Acadia may not feel any urgency to acquire the ROW or NNZ 2591 or even be bothered if deals are made with other parties given their focus will be on Nuplazid. If Nuplazid has failed recent trials then Acadia may have felt more urgency to expand their pipeline. With the success they can be more prudent in selection.
Good Thing- Acadia's SP has significantly increased, they are in a better position to acquire any assets whether that's via raising funds or through a possible script offer.
Hard to tell.
