We intend to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, including to fund preparations for the potential commercialization of pimavanserin for the treatment of dementia-related psychosis, if approved for such indication, and working capital. We may also use a portion of the net proceeds to acquire or invest in complementary businesses, products and technologies. Although we currently have no specific agreements, commitments or understandings with respect to any acquisition or investment, we evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities and may engage in related discussions with other companies from time to time.
