I had a reply from WEB to my question - here it is. I hope this is now clear.

"The information in the Webjet presentation lodged with the ASX on 1 April was in support of the capital raising launched that day. At the time, the capital raise was looking to raise $275 million via a fully underwritten institutional placement and a partially underwritten accelerated pro-rata, non renounceable entitlement offer. The $275 million was expected to be sufficient to provide for operating costs and capital expenditure through to the end of 2020.

As set out in the presentation, the Placement and Institutional Entitlement Offer opened and closed on 1 April 2020. On 2 April 2020, the company released a further statement to the ASX confirming it had successfully completed the Institutional Offer. Due to strong demand, the Institutional Placement was upsized and the Entitlement Offer was fully underwritten. As a result, the capital raising is now expected to raise a total of $346 million, up from the original $275 million. The quote from John Guscic in the AFR on 3 April was in relation to the successful completion of the Institutional Offer and noting that the increased capital raised would be sufficient to last through to the end of 2021:

“Mr Guscic said the cash being raised – above a minimum $275 million target – would be sufficient to last Webjet through to the end of calendar 2021.”I hope that helps clarify things. "
